Controlled Substance Licence for VTAs (issued by WORKSAFE – previously Environmental Protection Authority )<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants must:
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Be 17 years of age or over<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Be adequately trained to handle the required VTA (have an approved handler certificate)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Require the\u00a0Controlled Substance Licence\u00a0for their work<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Complete a fit and proper person assessment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Applicants will need to complete:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. WORKSAFE<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0application form<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Approved Handler Assessment Paper<\/a><\/li>\n
    3. Toxin Assessment Paper(s)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Work Assessment \/ Verification<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      New Controlled Substance Licence:<\/u><\/span>\u00a0$575 plus GST – (5 years)
      \n<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>Covers Sodium Fluoroacetate (1080),\u00a0Potassium & Sodium Cyanide and Pindone.
      \nAdditional Toxins – such as Yellow Phosphorous, DCR1339, MZP and PAPP = $50 per toxin
